GR-MEGA firmware 1.5.2 release notes A bugfix release, with minor feature additions. Date: 15 December 2025 new features: - #1661 ability to edit slices and loop flags while in audition. - #1658 audition - pos fader now works correctly on a zoomed-in sample. - Sampler and Tape sound engines now show "WINDOW OFF" in the window section of the display. - (1.5.2-b2) Sampling menu - auto sized buffer - popup notifying user to first initialize. - [Shift] + [Enter] = undo. Basically the same as pressing the preset button. changes: - slightly faster boot (after it became slower in 1.5) bugfixes: - #1677 Recording to wav file was broken. - #1667 Sending 0xFF (MIDI reset) caused reload of the entire project (taking seconds, and losing MIDI data). Now it just quickly stops and resets everything. - #1670 wrong offset with crop followed by save, followed by copy and paste to another preset. - #1668 When shifting focus from a phase vocoder layer to a granular layer the window graphics were not refreshed. - #1660 Resampling - volume was boosted x4, caused clipping. - Brought back "🔴 recordings/bla_xxxx.wav" and "🔴 resampling/bla_xxxx.wav" OSD messages. - #1669 Multitimbral - when refocusing or disabling layers, copy took the wrong preset. - #1679 Toggling layer off and on again, did not retrigger the play voice. - #1636 Sequencer notes sometimes hanging at stop, when using external clocking. - #1589 Seq LEDs: [Seq]+[Play] start Sequencer, followed by [Play] (in order to stop) didn't refresh step LEDs. - #1655 Sample waveform was upside-down. - (1.5.2-b2) fx menu - width of columns reduced to avoid left columns pushing out the right. known issues: - various MIDI CC's to still be implemented: glide, arp mode, scan mode, recording/sampling levels, window settings - high cpu load when connected to Macs via USB C, and using USB audio + MIDI + file sharing
