GR-MEGA Production, firmware & payments

The GR-MEGA production proceeded at the intended pace. We’re out of casings since early November, but we expect new casings in 1 week from now. The production time table is being updated regularly, so check it out to know when it’s your turn. The page includes instructions on how to look up your order number.

In the meantime we’ve released firmware 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 which are bugfix releases. These fix important things like obstacles in the way of starting a new project, slow autoslices, a sequencer crash when listening to the external MIDI clock, and a bunch more.. You can find them in the downloads section on our GR-MEGA support page. There will be more in the coming weeks and months.

It’s a busy time for firmware. With many new users now trying everything for the first time, and some of them already pushing the envelope we’re now seeing and hearing the first results from our users, which is certainly exciting! Of course, if you have a feature request, can’t find something in the manual or you think you found a bug, please let us know at info@tastychips.nl, or visit the facebook user group.

Important house keeping information: we removed the direct transfer payment method from our webshop.

To those of you who are part of companies or institutions who can only pay via bank transfer, you can contact us directly via e-mail: info@tastychips.nl. We typically just need to your shipping and billing address and your VAT number.

To those of you who preordered the GR-MEGA with bank transfer, and still haven’t paid the amount, could you be so kind to please pay the down payment ASAP? We will keep you in the list until the end of 2024. After this time we will let your unit go to the next in line.
