Will make an issue for this. To be honest, it's going to take a while to get to this. There are a couple of other bugs which are more serious atm... and new engine features :D
MIDI data will always generate the DIN-5 or USB icons on the top of screen. Even if this is data on the wrong channel or just plain "active sensing" packets.. Maybe that is what you're seeing?
Are we talking MIDI CC's and program changes? They're only be handled for the configured MIDI channel. For instance, if part 1 is configured to MIDI channel 1, it definitely only listens to CC's on _that_ channel. All the other MIDI data is ignored.…
A sustain (hold) pedal, you mean? There have been some reports about it, yes. We could look into it next week perhaps. If we can reproduce it we can fix it in v2.4.2 or 2.4.3..
Juan: let a PC or Mac program examine your USB stick..
These may help:

Oh, it becomes corrupted on the USB stick? Then it's another problem altogether! Is the location of the corrupted patch on the USB or on internal storage? Please let me know so I can further advise you.
Hi Juan,
First of all make sure that you're running the latest firmware 2.4.1.
Then watch out for powering down while saving, or the power plug not being properly inserted.. Yellow lightning symbols in the corner of the screen.. It seems the inte…
We'll make an issue and hope to reproduce this.. You're saying the spray and size CC's generated by turning the GR-1's knobs doesn't sound the same as feeding back those same CC's?
We appreciate your suggestions for "safe" live granulization.. We could implement a cross-fading record, but it's easier said than done. Parameter locking in this mode would probably be more practical. We'll think about it.
I think this is really tricky to solve unless we lower the resolution of the sliders... It may be a good idea to ask people if they mind.. Otherwise, Performance menu -> "potentiometer setpoints" may help?
Hhhmm, back in the day a customer even sent his Sensel to us. We then fixed the GR-1 firmware to support it. But you guessed it, we don't have it any more, and a lot has happened in the firmware since then...
But.. If there's no MIDI symbol on scre…
Time stretch is easily possible by setting:
- a relatively a small grain size
- a high density
- and then using the scan knob to stretch or compress..
Of course, this is still all granular. It works great for smooth sounds, but will lead to stutte…
Try the density knob to multiply the MIDI clock rate, and hold down Shift while doing it if you want to divide it down ( you probably want to, judging from your comment ).
Thanks man, this really makes our day. We're committed to stabilizing and improving the system as much as we can now. :) If you have any requests you know who to reach. ;)
Hi, the RJ45 port is only used for updates. We may want to use it for file browsing at some point, but this will require significant work.
And thanks for your kind words.
Hiya,
Ambisonics just use plain old multichannel wav. A bit of confusion here.. The ECR just interprets the channels als part of a so-called "true stereo" matrix. You can probably find some tool somewhere to convert ambisonics to the correct matrix…
If the mio2 is discontinued (shame), then perhaps another product from them will do. I see several audio interfaces from them that use the dual USB-B ports..
Ok, thanks in advance. Please report to us the steps you took to find this strange behavior in as much detail as possible. Patch files are also welcome.
First of all it's imperative you upgrade to 2.3.4 or 2.4.0. We have never experienced what you describe, but previous firmwares had bugs that could lead to such undefined behavior. If you're already running those new versions it may be the internal …
Yes, enable MPE in the performance menu (Shift+Perf). Then set up the modulation matrix in the patch menu (Shift+Patch). Select the matrix row "Timbre" (that's the vertical direction on the seaboard controllers) and edit.
Yes, it loads everything into RAM when loading a performance.
Yes, you can save a performance to internal (permanent) storage. A Performance is self-contained. It contains all the samples and all the patch data. So, no dangling links, no worries.
